Many elders and adults with disabilities face loneliness every day. Social networks that they have spent their lifetimes building may have diminished, and family, if it exists, may live far away or be otherwise absent. It is FriendshipWorks’s ongoing mission to reduce social isolation and replace it with the warmth and comfort that only a caring and dedicated friend can provide.
